How to Choose the Colors to Buy For Your Store

Having a hard time choosing the colors to buy for one shoe design? It’s pretty hard to pick only a few colors when there are so many to choose from. That’s a big problem for those who need to buy wholesale women’s shoes on a budget. If you can’t have every color of the shoe in your store, then you definitely have to pick wisely.

Choosing the shoes for your shoe store can be a little frustrating. If you’re already limited by the budget you have, it might seem a little more annoying that you also have to choose exactly what you want for your store. As a shoe store owner, this could put a lot of pressure on you as well because if you don’t choose the right colors, you could end up losing a lot of profit. Now that’s not something you want.

To help you choose the colors you’ll need, here’s a short guide to help you out.

  1. Black
This color is always a good choice. Black is easy to pair with other outfits and it’ll be easy to sell because it provide a contradicting color to all other colors. However, you have to be careful when you choose this color. If you fill up your store with all black, you could end up with a dull display. It’s best if you choose black for common types of shoes like boots and pumps.

  1. White
Just because you’re getting black for common shoes doesn’t mean you can get white as well. In fact, white is not a very sellable color. A few years back, white was unusual and it can give any outfit a good boost to looking sophisticated and elegant. But today, white is a little bland and boring unless you can find something contradicting to wear it with (like jeans). Limit the shoes you buy in this color.

  1. Nude or cream
Do you know what replaced white in the sophisticated and elegant department? It’s nude color or cream. When you wear a pair of shoes in this color, it tends to blend with your natural skin color so it ends up boosting your outfit and highlighting your assets. However, there are some kinds of shoes that don’t particularly look good in nude color. For example, nude flip flops or sneakers are not exactly interesting. On the other hand, nude pumps make a perfect partner for formal and office wear.

  1. Red
Red is actually a successfully sellable color. You can easily sell a pair of red boots or high heels. But, you do have to keep watch of the shade of red. Not all shades of red make a good pair of shoes. Maroon can be quite eye-catching, but if worn with the wrong outfit, it tends to become bland and boring. Dark red is also quite tricky. Blooming red, on the other hand, is youthful and fresh so you can easily sell the color to young women.

  1. Blue
Blue is a tricky color. Blue is fun and funky. But not every girl is confident enough to wear blue shoes. Do buy blue shoes that are eye-catching and youthful. People love blue when it makes them look young.
